It's that time of year again where we open up our dance crews to new dancers who may wish to audition. Come and be a part of a dance crew in 2024!
AUDITION DATES
Kidz Auditions (10 years and under at the start of 2024)
Friday 15th December: 4:00 - 6:00pm
Tuesday 16th January: 4:00 - 6:00pm - YOU ARE BOOKING INTO THIS SESSION
Junior Auditions (10 - 12 years old at the start of 2024)
Friday 15th December: 6:30 - 8:30pm
Tuesday 16th January: 6:30 - 8:30pm
Open Auditions (13 years old and over at the start of 2024)
Saturday 16th December: 6:30 - 8:30pm
Wednesday 17th January: 6:30 - 8:30pm
WHO WE ARE
Rezpect is a community based organisation with a vision of bringing hope and life to the young people of Hawke's Bay.
Under the umbrella of Rezpect, there are five main streams - Rezpect Dance Academy, youth events, our Youth Space, community outreach and social enterprise. Through these five streams, Rezpect provide high quality events, programmes, training and employment for the young people in our community.
Building a child's self-esteem is hard work but Rezpect has built an environment that is accepting, encouraging and gives the rangatahi something to do. It quite often brings tears to my eyes. It's a whanau and an organisation you want to be a part of.

A PLACE OF BELONGING FOR OUR YOUNG PEOPLE
Located in the heart of Hastings, our purpose built 'Youth Space' is a place of acceptance, where young people can connect with peers, grow creatively, hang out and learn transferable skills for future education and employment.
Our Youth Space is the hub and heartbeat of our organisation. This is the space where we plan and create youth events, community outreach programmes and run creative programs from.
REZPECT DANCE ACADEMY
Inspiring and encouraging young people through dance.
We are a community based Hip Hop dance program that strives to be accessible to all young people by providing affordable grass-root dance classes right through to elite dance opportunities.
