The Hope Project

Our Region has been shaken to the core because of Cyclone Gabrielle.

Rezpect are offering 'The Hope Project' to support families as they begin to recover from the devastation that has hit our Region.

'The Hope Project' is a fun filled day where we create a safe place for our rangatahi and tamariki to come and be filled with joy and hope, when the situation around them is full of stress, anxiety and desperation.

By offering 'The Hope Project' we aim to not only uplift our young people but to also free up their parents to support and find their whanau and friends who have been greatly affected by the cyclone or to give their parents time to rest and recover.

'The Hope Project' is run by Rezpect and a small army of volunteers who all aim to love on those around them & bring some hope in a time of darkness.

We will have a programme full of activities to engage our young people. From games, sports, dance, food to karaoke.

Our programme will run from 10am - 5pm. Young people will be accepted anytime throughout the day (if we have capacity).

You can register through the link below or on arrival. Those registering on arrival will need to sign in by providing all contact details for the parent / guardian of each young person. If you pre-register your spot is guaranteed.
