Rezpect Dance Academy was founded in Hastings, New Zealand in 2010 to inspire and encourage young people through dance. We are a community based Hip Hop dance program that strives to be accessible to all young people by providing affordable grass-root dance classes right through to elite dance opportunities.

Our dancers have made an impact Internationally, Nationally & Regionally, finding success at both International and National Dance Competitions.
Our pioneering creative program is highly commended by our local community. We gratefully receive the recognition from our local community for the way we engage and mentor young people through the transformative art form of Hip Hop Dance.
Since 2010, Rezpect has found National recognition within the Hip Hop Dance Community of New Zealand. We have been able to build strong professional and personal relationships with many of NZ’s top Street Dance / Hip Hop Dance Choreographers, Teachers & Industry Leaders. Through these relationships and the foundations we have laid, we have access to International Choreographers and their knowledge.

We have the privilage of seeing 350+ young people come through our creative programme each week and it is exciting that we have 15,000+ positive engagements each year!
